I recently stayed at Marinero hostel in Hvar and had a fantastic time. The staff, especially Ivana, were incredibly friendly and helpful, offering great recommendations for things to do and even providing earplugs for the nearby bars. The location was also excellent, just a few minutes from the port, making it convenient for catching early ferries. The hostel itself was clean and the beds were comfortable. a highly recommended place to stay in Hvar.
I recommend this hostel.

The dormitory room at Hostel Marinero was so bright and refreshing with its three windows letting in natural light. It made me feel energized and ready to explore Hvar Town.
Personally, I found the dormitory room at Hostel Marinero a bit cramped with 8 sleeping places. But hey, others might still enjoy the cozy atmosphere.

The staff at Hostel Marinero were incredibly attentive and helpful throughout our stay. They made us feel like we were talking to a friend rather than just being guests. The location of the hostel is perfect, just a 3-minute walk from the ferry. Additionally, Dolores, our host, gave us a great recommendation for a nearby restaurant where we could enjoy a 20% discount.

The hostel has a great central location, just a short walk from the harbor and close to the best bars in town. . There is a friendly and warm receptionist who offers a free shot at one of the nearby bars and a discount at the hostel's restaurant. the rooms are nice and come with free Wi-Fi and lockers for your belongings.
The internet doesn't work in the rooms and guests have to sit on the stairs to get a connection. . There is only one bathroom on each floor, which is not enough for the number of guests, often running out of supplies.

I was pleasantly surprised by the charming decor of the hotel. The common areas were tastefully designed, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. As a senior woman, I appreciated the accessibility of the hotel. The main square and the ferry port were just steps away, making it easy for me to explore the town and embark on various activities without having to travel long distances.
I wish the children working there could have been a bit more attentive to the needs of senior guests.

We had so much fun at Hostel Marinero! The location was perfect, right in the heart of the action with everything we needed nearby. The staff, especially Iva, Medina, and Ljilja, were fantastic. They were friendly, warm, and always willing to help. The beds were comfy and the hostel provided earplugs, so we got a good night's sleep despite the lively nightlife. we had an amazing experience and would highly recommend this hostel.
There was some noise from the nearby nightclub, which made it a bit difficult to sleep. Additionally, there were no communal areas or kitchen facilities, which made it a bit inconvenient.

The value for the money at Marinero was excellent, and the room was comfortable and clean. The location was perfect, right in the middle of all the bars, and the staff, especially Antonia, was incredibly helpful and sincere.
The only thing that could make the breakfast option better would be a wider variety of choices.
